I’m a window-seat girl on the airplane. I love looking down and imagining the different lives people lead. That perspective, paired with the dreamy mise en scène of the bright blue sky above the clouds, perfectly encapsulates why I have a passion for storytelling, especially through a camera lens. From short narrative and documentary films to written feature stories to sports videography, I have learned a lot from a variety of people, all of whom have inspired how I view my own life. After completing my master’s degree in mass communication at the University of Florida, I hope to work in a creative field where I can highlight the details of what makes a person, character, experience or brand special. Some people go the whole plane ride with the window shut, but I strive to let the world in.
